Greenburgh Police Seek Help to ID Assailants of New Year's Attack
The victim was beaten by two men outside of a local restaurant.
A 39-year-old man was hospitalized early Thursday following an attack outside of the Royal Palace Restaurant on Knollwood Road in Greenburgh, according to police.
The Journal News reports the attack occurred just after 1 a.m. when the man was jumped as he was leaving the restaurant by two male assailants. He was struck in the head numerous times and was taken to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla for treatment.
No description of the attackers was given, but Greenburgh police are asking that anyone with information about the incident contact the department at 914-682-5325.
