Greenburgh Update: 3,664 Residents Without Power Wednesday

There are now 15 Con Ed crews assigned to the town of Greenburgh.

There are now 3,664 Greenburgh residents out of power. Con Ed has assigned 15 crews to Greenburgh today and two cut and clear crews. This is the most we have had so I anticipate significant progress to be made. After the hurricane 9,500 people were out of power.

Yesterday the Town Board approved a resolution authorizing waiving all fees for building and electrical permits from the storm.

If there is another storm today, Con Ed will keep crews in Westchester and won’t send the crews back to NYC, according to officials I spoke with yesterday.
