Hartsdale Massage Parlor Allowed To Reopen By Judge

The town had revoked its license after police made an arrest for prostitution.

HARTSDALE, NY — A massage parlor that the Town of Greenburgh closed may be reopened while its owners go to court. Forest Yin Spa had its license to operate revoked by the town board Dec. 19 after one masseuse was charged with prostitution and another with giving massages while unlicensed.

A Ninth Judicial District judge ruled that the massage parlor could open for business until Jan. 9 because an attorney argued that the state licenses masseuses, not the town, the Journal News said.
