Hot Weekend to End with Heavy Storms: Weekend Weather for Scarsdale

Here's info for planning those August activities in and around Scarsdale and southern Westchester.

SCARSDALE, NY — Hot weather on Saturday and Sunday with temps in the mid-80s will be followed by a cold front bringing storms and rain moving in toward the end of the weekend — that's what we have to look forward to. The issue is when.

"The strength of this front will be a big deal, we have had many frontal passages these last few weeks, not many have had an impact on the heat and humidity. This front will be a different story," says Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.

Potter says the timing of the cold front could easily change, leading to a soggier Sunday than now predicted. Check back with Patch for updates.
