Hudson Valley Restaurant Week Launches Registration

The dates of the 2014 Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, which will be held over two weeks, will be Nov. 3-16.

Organizers of the annual Hudson Valley Restaurant Week announced Monday that they have opened up registration for restaurants for the next several weeks.

The popular event, which spans seven counties in the Hudson Valley, will run for two weeks from Nov. 3-16, and restaurant registration will run through Aug. 30. HVRW is presented by the quarterly magazine The Valley Table.

Restaurants located in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess, Orange, Columbia and Ulster counties are eligible - and encouraged, said organizers - to participate. To register, visit hudsonvalleyrestaurantweek.com or call 845-765-2600. Sponsorship opportunities also are available.

“HVRW features prix fixe, three-course dinners for $29.95 and lunches for $20.95 and takes place for two weeks, ultimately bringing together local farmers, chefs, purveyors and businesses,” organizers said in a statement. “In the most recent Spring 2014 restaurant week, there were over 200 participating restaurants and HVRW urges all to showcase the best of the local fall harvest season!”
