Hutch Down to 1 Lane from Exit 23-30, Nov. 12-13

The left lane of the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway will be closed during the day Thursday and Friday for maintenance activities, state transportation officials warn.

The work between Exit 23 (Mamaroneck Avenue) and Exit 30 (King Street), is expected to take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., weather permitting.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.

Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
