The SHS is at the core of sustainability education at . All departments use it in some way for their classes, and the garden provides a valuable community service. Each summer for the last five years, we have donated about a thousand pounds of food to local soup kitchens.

The garden needs your help this summer!
Pick a week and do some watering, weeding, and harvesting. You will be well rewarded with pick-your-own produce you can take home for your own dinner, as well as the joy and good nutrition you will bring to hungry Westchester neighbors.
