Look: Scarsdale, Edgemont School Calendars for 2015-16

Summer’s winding down, and the first day of school is just around the corner. Below are links to the school calendars for the Scarsdale and Edgemont school districts.

Scarsdale begins school on Wednesday, Sept. 2, and Edgemont starts on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Other important dates include:

Rosh Hashanah is Sept. 14, 15, and Yom Kippur is Sept. 23. Schools will be closed in both districts on all three days.

Holiday recess for both districts will be Dec. 24-31.

Mid-winter recess for both districts will be Feb. 15-19.

Edgemont’s spring recess is March 25-April 1; Scarsdale’s is April 25-May 2.

Scarsdale’s last day of school is June 24; Edgemont’s is June 23.

Snow days or unexpected closings could potentially alter some of these dates.
