Lord & Taylor Eastchester to Host Fall Shop Smart, Do Good

A Shopping Event to Raise Money for Local Organizations. All Non-Profit Groups Encouraged to Apply.

Since 2006, Lord & Taylor has hosted SHOP SMART DO GOOD “SSDG,” a special all-day shopping event in support of local non-profit organizations. This Fall’s annual event will be held at the Eastchester location on Friday, November 16, 2018. Since 2006 this program has raised over $12,400,000 nationwide. All local non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply and participate.

Leading up to SSDG event Day, Lord & Taylor and participating non-profits will sell $5 tickets with proceeds going back to non-profit groups. SSDG Event Day features special discounts, local entertainment, restaurant samplings, gifts with purchase and more.

Each organization receives tickets to sell to their family, friends and organization supporters. Each ticket is valued at $5 and the organization keeps 100% of ticket sales proceeds. Organizations are encouraged to sell a minimum of 50 tickets to maximize their participation. Organizations that sell 50 or more tickets will be eligible to receive a share of store ticket sales as well. Each ticket includes a 25% off storewide savings pass on almost everything + 15% off almost all beauty. Tickets are redeemed on SSDG event day only at the Eastchester location. The top organization with the highest ticket sales will receive an additional bonus from Lord & Taylor.

Tickets will also be sold at each register on SSDG Event Day starting approximately two weeks before the event date. Proceeds from register sales will be evenly distributed among all participating organizations selling a minimum of 50 tickets. It’s a great way to shop the latest trends and support your location organization!

Organizations may apply via email to Ms. Geri Corrigan at Geri.Corrigan@hbc.com or by stopping by the executive offices of the Eastchester store at 750 White Plains Road.
