Lord & Taylor Eastchester to Host Shop Smart, Do Good on Nov. 16

Event to Benefit Nearly 50 for Local Organizations

Since 2006, Lord & Taylor has hosted SHOP SMART DO GOOD “SSDG,” a special all-day shopping event in support of local non-profit organizations. This Fall’s annual event will be held on Friday, November 16 at the Eastchester store located in the Vernon Hills Shopping Center at 750 White Plains Road. Since 2006 this program has raised over $12,400,000 nationwide. Nearly 50 local non-profit organizations will participate in this year’s event in Eastchester.

The day features festivities including local entertainment, restaurant samplings, special complimentary services, gifts with purchase and more. Food and beverage samplings will be presented by Dig Inn, Dobbs & Bishop Fine Cheese Shop, Magno’s, Sarabeth’s, Sage Cafe, Vega Mexican, The Winery at St. George, and Deutsch Family Wine and Spirits. Orangetheory Fitness Scarsdale and Soul Cycle Scarsdale and will offer fitness demos, live entertainment will be provide by The Hendry School of Irish Dance. Book signings will take place with authors Mary Ann Latorre and Janet Retta, and life coach/motivational speaker Tracy Fox. Local fine artist Patt Baldino will be painting live and have a showing of her artwork. The Flower Bar will present demos of holiday floral arranging. Beauty services include gel manicures by Lush Nail, styling by The Salon at Lord & Taylor, national makeup artists, and more.

Tickets are on sale at the store leading up to and the day of the event for $5 (or through participating organizations). 100% of ticket sales are donated to the organizations. Each ticket includes a 25% off storewide savings pass on almost everything and 15% off almost all beauty purchases. Tickets may be redeemed on SSDG event day only at the Eastchester location.
