Man Stabs Co-Worker With Wine Opener: State Police
The man was charged with felony assault.

SCARSDALE, NY — A Scarsdale man was arrested for stabbing someone with a wine bottle opener, State Police said. Troopers from the Somers barracks charged Ardijan Taraku, 38, of Scarsdale, for second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.
On Oct. 15, around 3:15 a.m., Troopers received a report of an assault victim at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
Police said the investigation found that the victim was assaulted by a co-worker at the 202 Steakhouse where they worked in Yorktown Heights.

He was arraigned before the Town of Somers Justice Court and released on his own recognizance.
