Metro-North Equipment Train Hits Man at Scarsdale Station

SCARSDALE, NY — A Metro-North train hit a man early Tuesday morning.

Officials said the man, whose name has not been released, was resting on a bench and around 4:30 a.m. when he walked onto the track area and an equipment train with struck him, News 12 said.

The man was alive when taken to the hospital and officials said he will likely survive.
