Michelle Obama To Hold Campaign Fundraiser At Blue Hill Sunday
It will be the First Lady's second trip to the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture in two years; this time for a campaign fundraiser for her husband.

The news that Michelle Obama is coming to our area started with a tweet.
On July 3, News 12 reporter Tara Rosenblum tweeted: “The first lady is heading to Westchester! Michelle Obama will be @ Blue Hill Farm in Bedford on July 15 for a fundraiser for the President.”
Well, sort of. It looks like Michelle Obama is coming to Blue Hill Restaurant at Stone Barns on Bedford Road, in Pocantico Hills.

But information on Sunday's event is hard to come by.
's Communications Director Mara Flanagan could not offer much beyond this.

“The details are still up in the air,” Flanagan said. “There's nothing really that I can comment on as of yet. But I will let you know as soon as I'm allowed to.”
An email to the First Lady's press office did not provide details about the event.
"We are happy to provide a full report and full transcript after the event if you would be interested," the email stated.
Stone Barns enjoys a nice relationship with Michelle Obama, who toured the agricultural educational center back in September 2010. She visited the farm with wives of UN dignitaries when area third graders were participating in farm-based education, followed by a lunch at the prestigious Blue Hill. The Pocantico Hills children there were obviously thrilled with the opportunity to .
Dan Barber, executive chef at Blue Hill, is a member of the President's Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition. The council was formerly dedicated to fitness and sports, but under this First Lady's leadership, added the healthy eating component of nutrition to its efforts.
