Motorcycle Crash In Scarsdale Kills One
The Post Road was closed for hours during investigation and clean-up.

SCARSDALE, NY — A motorcyclist died Friday evening in Scarsdale after a collision with a car. Due to the serious nature of the accident and the investigation at the scene, the Post Road was completely closed in both directions between Sherbrooke Road and Crane Road for the remainder of the evening, according to Scarsdale police.
The crash took place near the intersection of Route 22 and Wayside Lane.

The motorcyclist was identified as Junio Aridio of Mount Vernon. The 44-year-old was treated and transported by the Scarsdale Volunteer Ambulance Corps to the Westchester Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The operator of the other vehicle was not injured.
The Westchester County Police Accident Investigation Unit assisted at the scene.
