Mount Vernon Man Rolls Car Over, Gets Arrested
He allegedly sped away after police tried to pull him over while speeding.
SCARSDALE, NY — A Mount Vernon man who flipped his vehicle and tried to run from police was caught and charged with multiple felonies. Jayron Whitted, 30, was spotted Sunday by Scarsdale police traveling at a high rate of speed.
When police initiated a traffic stop, he slowed down, struck the curb and sped away, the Daily Voice said, and soon after rolled his car over on Post Road and Hilldale Place. [Get Patch’s Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts here.]
Among the charges he faces is felony operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
