New Shake Shack Set To Open In Hudson Valley

The first 100 people in line when the doors open will receive a free Pie Oh My Concrete.

HARTSDALE, NY — A new Shake Shack location is set to open in the Hudson Valley. The doors will open at 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 14 at the Dalewood Shopping Center, 379 North Central Ave. in Hartsdale.

Shake Shack, which describes itself as a modern day "roadside" burger stand, features 100 percent all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and griddled flat-top dogs, according to a spokeswoman.

As an opening promotion, Shake Shack will give the first 100 people in line when the doors open at 11 a.m. an order of Pie Oh My Concrete for free.

The Hartsdale Shack will donate all proceeds from its soft opening, as well as 5 percent of sales from Pie Oh My Concrete throughout the life of the Shack to the Child Care Council of Westchester, a nonprofit that increases access to safe, affordable early care and education for underserved children.

There is plenty of seating in the 3,060-square-foot Hartsdale Shake Shack, and its tabletops are made using reclaimed bowling alley lanes. Chairs were designed using sustainable materials, and booths were made with lumber certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

  • Hopscotch: Vanilla custard, shack chocolate toffee, chocolate chunks topped with shack salted caramel sauce.
  • Oh Fudge: Chocolate custard, shack fudge sauce, chocolate truffle cookie dough, topped with chocolate sprinkles

Guests purchase local brews from Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, Bronx Brewery and Blue Point Brewing Company, plus Shake Shack’s exclusive Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister Ale. Wine lovers can get a glass of Shack Red and Shack White wine from the Gotham Project.
