New Trustees Sworn In

The new trustees, Jon Mark and Kay Eisenman were sworn in today at Village Hall.

The newest Board of Trustees is now complete; today the two trustees-elect, Jon Mark and Kay Eisenman, were sworn in at Village Hall to their new positions on the board.

The farewells of former trustees, Sharon Lindsay and Dan Hochvert, took place at last week's Board of Trustees meeting on Tuesday, March 30. This morning at 9:30 a.m. the mayor, executive-level Village staffers, family members of the trustees-elect and Village Clerk Donna Conkling attended the swift swearing-in procedure.

A round of applause followed the swearing in, which ended with Mark's vow.

Tonight's Committee of the Whole meeting, which began at 6:30 p.m.,  helps to orient the new members to the local government, and review current issues of note that are before the board, such as the most recent budget and historic preservation designations.

A bus tour of the many Village facilities will further educate the newest members of the board, and takes place on Saturday, April 17.
