Scarsdale Teen Center Turns Sweet 16 with Night of Rock

The Center@862 celebrates its 15th anniversary.

The Scarsdale Teen Center, popularly known as The Center@862, celebrates its 15th anniversary at the eighth annual Night of Rock on Saturday, May 3, 2014.

Night of Rock 2014 kicks off at 7:00 p.m. with teen talent at The Center, 862 Scarsdale Avenue, followed by several adult bands.

Among the adult performers that evening are Jayesh Gandhi with his band Electrik Buddha; Stuart Bassel, Michael Gliedman and Lee Miller of McStuly, playing the music they heard at their teen center; and The Offbeats, a band of Scarsdale High School 60’s-70’s alumni rockers. The teen line-up is still in the making. Center staff and volunteers will keep it rocking through the night!

In addition to the live musical performances, Lange’s pizza and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
