Official Ribbon-Cutting at New York Health & Wellness Center Unveils Breakthrough Aging and Weight Loss Programs

An “evolutionary” approach to achieving maximum weight loss and a series of integrated wellness programs aiming to reverse the effects of aging by focusing on the mid-life hormone changes that most women and men experience, was unveiled at NY Health & Wellness, located at 450 Mamaroneck Ave. in Harrison, on January 14.

News 12 anchor Tara Rosenblum emceed the ribbon-cutting event, followed by remarks from Westchester Deputy County Executive Kevin Plunkett and Westchester County Health Commissioner Sherlita Amler, M.D. Lee Mazzilli, the famed former NY Yankees and NY Mets player/ NY Yankees coach/Baltimore Orioles manager, also attended and signed autographs.

The new 6,000 square-foot facility features programs and treatments to elevate the wellness- consciousness of women and men seeking to restore their energy, improve their level of fitness and nutrition, and achieve a greater sense of overall health and wellness. NY Health & Wellness is founded on the principle that “particularly in midlife, vitamin therapy, nutrition, weight-loss management, hormone optimization and other advanced integrative approaches to healthcare provide the keys to unlocking the secrets of perpetual wellness.”

According to NY Health & Wellness founder Mitch Suss, a Scarsdale resident, “We’ve created an individualized fitness, nutrition, and psychological program, based on each person’s own hormone levels that are maximizing and energizing their vitality, virility, and fitness levels. This is accomplished by administering the proper nutrients, diet, supplements and vitamin therapy.”

He added, “Our program allows each person’s biological, physiological and emotional systems to attain the right ‘fuel’ to get them performing at peak levels well into their golden years.”
