Suzanne Cleary’s Beauty Mark won the 2012 John Ciardi Prize for Poetry, and was published by BkMk Press in 2013.Beauty Mark was recently recognized with a Paterson Award for Literary Excellence from The Poetry Center at Passaic County Community College. Cleary’s previous poetry books are Keeping Time and Trick Pear. Recipient of a Pushcart Prize, she is Professor of English at SUNY Rockland, and core faculty in the low-residency MFA in Creative Writing Program of Converse College.

Julie Danho’s chapbook, Six Portraits, won the 2013 Slapering Hol Press Chapbook Competition. Her poems and essays have appeared in Barrow Street, Mid-American Review, West Branch, Southern Poetry Review, and Bellingham Review, among other journals. She received an M.F.A. from Ohio State University and has been awarded fellowships in poetry from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts. Julie works as an editor in Providence, Rhode Island.
Susana H. Case is a Professor and Program Coordinator at the New York Institute of Technology. Author of several chapbooks, her Slapering Hol Press chapbook, The Scottish Café, was published in a dual-language version, Kawiarnia Szkocka, by Poland’s Opole University Press. She is the author of four full-length collections, including Elvis Presley’s Hips & Mick Jagger’s Lips (Anaphora Literary Press), and, most recently, 4 Rms w Vu (Mayapple Press).
