Police: Scarsdale Man Stole More Than 100 Gumball Machines

Machines were taken from barbershops and laundromats, among other businesses.

Scarsdale resident Jason Bietsch was arrested Thursday in connection with the theft of more than 100 gumball machines from Bronx businesses, according to police.

News 12 Westchester reports that Bietsch is alleged to have pretended to be a vendor when he took the machines, which in some cases contained hundreds of dollars worth of coins.

Bietsch is alleged to have hit barbershops and laundromats, among other businesses.
