Scarsdale's Board of Trustees has finally passed the Fair and Affordable Housing Amendment into effect after months of debate following the federal lawsuit mandating Westchester County to build 750 affordable housing units.
According to Trustee Stacey Brodsky, the settlement will "advance the public health, safety and welfare by creating housing options for people from a variety of income ranges and ethnic backgrounds."
