Recycling day in Greenburgh-this Saturday

Bring possessions that you don't need to highway garage

RECYCLING DAY -SATURDAY--BRING THE FOLLOWING TO HIGHWAY GARAGE 9 AM TO 2 PM
This Saturday we’re holding our annual recycling day. The event will be at the highway garage, 100 Sprain Road from 9 AM to 2 PM. You can recycle furnitures, coaches, tables, bed frames, mattresses, box springs (they must be wrapped in plastic and taped), carpets, rugs, small appliances like microwaves, toasters , vacuums, large appliances including stoves, dishwashers, washing machines, electronics, computers, TVs, printers, refrigerators, scrap metal, bicycles, lawn mowers; vehicle batteries, textiles, clothing, shoes, sheets, towels, books, paper.
It’s my hope that one day Greenburgh will have a permanent recycling center in town -rather than only a one day a year event.
PAUL FEINER
Greenburgh Town Supervisor
