SCARSDALE, NY — Down into the 40s, up into the 80s. A chilly August, hot and humid in October. It's no wonder Hudson Valley Weather called out our recent weather as a "temperature rollercoaster."
Remember the beginning of the week, air-conditioner conditions? Well, eastern Columbia County was under a frost advisory Thursday night.

"Sunday could be a final taste of summer, if everything breaks our way," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "A strong SW flow will pull warm air into the Hudson Valley. That should mean highs in the mid to upper 70s across the region. How much sunshine we see, remains the question… as the moist southerly flow could allow a good bit of cloudiness."

- Tonight: A 20 percent chance of light rain after 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a steady temperature around 60. East wind 3 to 8 mph.
- Saturday: A 30 percent chance of light rain, mainly between 10am and 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 73. South wind around 6 mph.
- Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 8pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Calm wind.
- Sunday: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 79. Light southwest wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
- Sunday Night: A chance of showers between 8pm and 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 56. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
