Scarsdale Among Best School Districts In New Rankings

SCARSDALE, NY — Data compiler Niche released its new list, 2019 Best School Districts In America, last week. Scarsdale was high on the list.
To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
Each district received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.

Scarsdale received an overall grade of A+. In fact, it received all As except for a C in Sports and a B in Diversity.
It was ranked No. 4 in New York and No. 20 out of almost 11,000 school districts in America.
