Scarsdale Announces Registration For Kindergarten

SCARSDALE, NY — The Scarsdale School District has announced the availability of online kindergarten registration for the next school year. Current residents who expect to have a child in kindergarten during the 2019-20 school year are encouraged to complete this process between Jan. 15 and Jan. 31.

While prospective kindergarteners may register at anytime prior to the start of the school year, competing the process early ensures a smooth screening and placement process.

Children whose fifth birthday falls on or before Dec. 31, 2019, may register for the 2019-20 school year.

Enrollment in one of the five elementary schools — Edgewood, Fox Meadow, Greenacres, Heathcote and Quaker Ridge — is determined by the neighborhood in which you reside.
