Scarsdale Could Vote Early Next Year on Library Renovation Bond
The bond would pay for part of the expansion and renovation.
SCARSDALE, NY — A community vote could be in the offing whether the Scarsdale Public Library will get $18 million approved to renovate and expand.
Among the library’s needs are an elevator and restrooms that comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, according to an article at the Journal News.
Part of the project will be from private donations, with the rest coming from a bond, which might be voted on in February.
