Scarsdale, Edgemont Pass School Budgets

Voters in the Scarsdale and Edgemont school districts Tuesday overwhelmingly passed the proposed spending plans for both systems, according to unofficial results.
In Scarsdale, the proposed 2015-16 budget was just over $148 million; in Edgemont, spending was proposed at $54.1 million.
Additionally, Pamela Fuehrer and Arthur Rublin were elected to the Scarsdale Board of Education, as were Jennifer Darger and Brian Yarrington in Edgemont. A project to replace a fire alarm system also was adopted by voters in Edgemont.
