Scarsdale High Alums Talk College With Seniors

Speakers presenting on "How to Avoid the First Year Pitfalls and Make the Most of the College Experience."

College is a tremendous investment of money, time and energy. It is also a once in a lifetime opportunity. We invite your college-bound student to an evening with the founders of Higher Edge Partners for a fun and interactive discussion on how to make the most of these special years. Two sessions are available to choose from on either June 13 or June 14 from 7pm to 9:30 p.m. in rooms 170-72 at SHS (BOE Wing.)

Dr. Deborah Roche and Dr. Frank Murtha, alumni of Scarsdale High School, will address the pitfalls and challenges that confront first year college students. They will also talk about ways that all college students can capitalize on this unique time in their lives. All attendees will leave with a better sense of how to avoid first year slips ups and a personalized Higher Edge Planning Guide to take with them to college. Dinner will also be provided from Buon Amici's.

Registration is limited to 30 seniors per session and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is a nominal fee for the program and dinner of $25.00. If you are interested in signing up your senior to attend, please click on the link below. If you have any questions regarding registration, please contact Julie Hoofnagle at juliehoofnagle@me.com.
