Scarsdale Homeowners Take Issue with Latest Reevaluation
The properties have been reassessed twice in three years.
SCARSDALE, NY — Two property value reassessments in three years have left many Scarsdale homeowners disgruntled and wanting something done about it.
The 2016 assessment roll was filed June 1 and citizens can take advantage of the grievance process and, if necessary, appeal their assessments in state Supreme Court, according to an article at the Journal News.
But that doesn’t mean that people haven’t called for the assessor’s resignation and criticized the appraisal model.
