Scarsdale Middle Schooler Performing In Concordia's Chamber Music Festival
Concordia Conservatory has concerts on Friday and Saturday this weekend.

One Scarsdale middle schooler will be performing this weekend in Concordia Conservatory's Chamber Music Festival 2012.
Scarsdale resident and Scarsdale Middle School student Nick Politi will be performing on his cello in an ensemble in this year’s festival.
The concerts are being held Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sommer Center for the Performing Arts at Concordia College in Bronxville.

2012 marks the eleventh season for the Chamber Music Festival, the culmination of months of study by Conservatory students under the direction of Conservatory faculty coaches, performing classical and contemporary works.

The concerts feature Concordia Conservatory chamber music duos, trios, quartets, and quintets with student performers from youth and adult programs.
Headed by Annette Espada, the May 11 and 12 concerts present chamber music works with 13 Conservatory chamber ensembles that will perform music by Mendelssohn, Paul McCartney, de Prez , Handel, Matt Van Brink, Dowland, and Schubert.
The 40 Conservatory instrumentalists and vocalists performing are: Pippa Colvin, Pat Drew, Lauren Lappetito, Liz Ingram, Jillian Marzziotti, Morgan Goodman, Pema Doma, John Hanish, Annael Alvarez, Rachel Roberts, Palden Lhamo, Sam Arcano, Sarah Bonnem, Harry Colvin, Ravi Louis, Kelsy Hillesheim, Gretel Poggioli, Nora Donahue, Haley Barr, Sabrina Mellinghoff, Sarina Culaj, Thomas Smyth, Cassandra Sperry, Carolyn Caruso, Gerardo Rodriguez, Nicholas Politi, Justin Barr, Tashi Doma, Nicholas Lombardi, Tentse Doma, Frances Hernandez, Malachi Dube, William Murphy, Jacqueline Capossela, Alexander New, Taryn Comizio, Will Tague, Katie Suss, and Lucy Whitney.
This year, Concordia Conservatory offered student scholarships for the chamber music program made possible by the generosity of donors. Concordia Conservatory is committed to the growth of the chamber music program to include access for all students.
