Scarsdale to Select Three Trustees Tuesday, Only 2 on the Ballot
One of the candidates chosen by the nominating committee did not file on time.

SCARSDALE, NY - Scarsdale voters will go to the polls to elect village board trustees Tuesday.
However, it won’t be as simple as pulling a lever.
The Scarsdale Citizens’ Non-Partisan Party chose three people to run as candidates, but only of those names will be appearing on the ballot.

Incumbent Marc Samwick and Jane Veron will be on the ballot.
A selection for the third seat will have to be written in by voters.

Seth Ross, who was chosen by the Scarsdale Citizens’ Nominating Committee to be a candidate, didn’t file in time and therefore will not appear on the ballot.
Trustee Deborah Pekarek, who is serving her first term, was not selected by committee to be considered for a second term.
She has indicated that she would be interested in continuing as a trustee, according to an article at scarsdale10583.

All voting will take place at Scarsdale Village Hall. The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and then from noon to 9 p.m.
