Scarsdale Teen Center Seeking High School Students' Workshop Proposals

Volunteer opportunities are open to Edgemont and Scarsdale high school students.

The is offering opportunities for Scarsdale and Edgemont High School students to share their talents and develop leadership skills by running workshops for Scarsdale middle school students. Workshops can be offered in a single session or weekly, in an area of passion – music, drawing, drama, dance, singing, book groups, card games or any other area of interest. High school students share their passions and work directly with younger teens, under the supervision of Teen Center staff.

Currently, the center has a Wednesday arts and crafts workshop run by an Edgemont high school junior who studies art and a Friday workshop where the middle school students learn drumming, keyboard and guitar. That workshop is taught by a Teen Center staff member and recent Scarsdale High School graduate who is now studying music in college.

Direct workshop proposals and any questions to Ellen Tiven-Moore (Executive Director) or Brittney Coleman (Program Director), Scarsdale Teen Center, 862 Scarsdale Avenue, Scarsdale NY 10583, by phone (914-722-8358) or email info@scarsdaleteencenter.com
