Scarsdale Testing LED Street Lights, Seeks Public's Input

Lights of varying brightness have been installed in different locations.

SCARSDALE, NY — The Village of Scarsdale is undergoing an LED streetlight pilot program, and village officials want to know what you think about them.

The lights in the pilot programs have been installed on sections of White Plains (Post) Road, Heathcote Road, Mamaroneck Road and Tisdale Road.

Additional lights will be installed on Springdale Road.

The intensity and brightness of the lights differ from location to location, officials said.

The pilot phase will continue for three months.
