
SCARSDALE, NY — A $64.8 million bond proposal was approved by a wide margin by Scarsdale voters Thursday. According to a district spokeswoman, the vote was 1,253 in favor and 667 rejecting it.
District-wide improvements include roofs, boilers and burners, ADA compliance with doors and handrails and field and site improvements.
Major renovations and expansion is planned for Greenacres Elementary School, which will see larger and more flexible classroom space or the fourth and fifth grades.

Reconfiguration of existing space will result in new art and music rooms, a full-service kitchen, improvements to the school’s library and renovated and new hallway bathrooms.
