Scarsdale's Weekend Weather: Don't Let The Rain Fool You

SCARSDALE, NY — A notable change will take place Saturday, according to meteorologists. Namely, it will stop raining. The humidity will even drop — for a while.

The weekend looks pretty good, said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.

Here's the National Weather Service's weekend forecast for southern Westchester:

• Today: Showers, mainly before 1pm. High near 70. East wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
• Tonight: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Patchy fog after 1am. Otherwise, cloudy, with a low around 67. East wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%.
• Saturday: A slight chance of showers between 10am and noon. Patchy fog before 9am. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 83. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
• Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. Northwest wind 3 to 5 mph.
• Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 85. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming light and variable in the morning.
• Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 69.
