support chinese owned businesses hurt by coronovirus fears

Chinese owned restaurants and businesses are hurt by irrational fears according to WCBS TV story

WCBS TV reported that some local Chinese owned restaurants are facing some difficult times -possibly because of irrational worries about the coronavirus. In the news story below they interviewed a representative of Hunan Village II located in Hartsdale. They mentioned that business is down. Business is down at many Chinese restaurants across the metropolitan area. This is sad. Small businesses need to pay rent, they need to pay their employees. They need our business to survive and should not be boycotted for irrational worries. Our small businesses are the backbone of our local business districts. We need to support them. In NYC some leaders have started a "show some love to Chinese Small Businesses" initiative.

In this difficult time, when some of our Chinese neighbors are feeling stressed and sad because of the impact the coronavirus illnesses has had on their friends and families in China, it's important to be there for the community. So - please visit, shop and eat at local Chinese owned stores. Our community has a large Chinese population and we should be there for them.
