Swimming Pools, Two-Story Additions Before Scarsdale Zoning Board of Appeals Jan. 14

The meeting will be held in Village Hall.

The Scarsdale Zoning Board of Appeals will consider two swimming pool requests, a hot tub request and two, two-story additions when it meets on Jan. 14, officials announced.

The swimming pools would be built at 22 Hampton Road and 18 Kelwynne Road; the hot tub would be built at 44 Springdale Road; and the additions would be constructed at 7 Ridgecrest West and 51 Corell Road.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held by the Board of Appeals of the Village of Scarsdale in Rutherford Hall in Village Hall, 1001 Post Road, Scarsdale NY 10583, on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at 8:00 p.m. at which time and place the Board of Appeals will consider the following:

1. The application of 228 East 116th St. LLC for a Special Use Permit, pursuant to Chapter 310-88 of the Village Code, to construct a swimming pool at 22 Hampton Road, identified on the Village tax map as Sec. 4, Blk. 4, Lot 515.

2. The application of Angela and Thomas Giuffra for variances from Chapters 310-43 and 310-102 of the Village Code to construct a two story addition that would intrude into the required rear yard setback and exceed the maximum permitted FAR at 7 Ridgecrest West, identified on the Village tax map as Sec. 5, Blk. 1, Lot 102.

3. The application of Michele and Jacques Galante for a for a Special Use Permit, pursuant to Chapter 310-88 of the Village Code, to construct a swimming pool at 18 Kelwynne Road, identified on the Village tax map as Sec. 18, Blk. 1, Lot 51, 57.

4. The application of Lauren and Scott Rubino for variances from Chapter 310-53 and 310-67 of the Village Code to construct a second story addition that would continue the existing intrusion into the required side on corner setback at 51 Corell Road, identified on the Village tax map as Sec. 19, Blk. 1, Lot 190.

5. The application of Jessica and Joshua Raskin for a Special Use Permit, pursuant to Chapter 310-88 of the Village Code, to construct a hot tub at 44 Springdale Road, identified on the Village tax map as Sec. 19, Blk. 4, Lot 672.
