Truck Hits Overpass on Hutch Monday, Lanes Closed

There was debris spilled on the roadway.

A tractor trailer hitting an overpass has forced the closure of the southbound Hutchinson River Parkway Monday.

The state Department of Transportation said the parkway in Scarsdale was closed at Exit 22-Mamaroneck Road, at 12:41 p.m.

Debris has been spilled onto the roadway so the DOT said this will be an extended closure of approximately six hours.

Heavy delays can be expected.

The DOT recommends the following detour:

S/B Hutchinson River Pkwy to Exit 22 - Mamaroneck Rd, continue across Mamaroneck Rd and continue back onto S/B Hutchinson River Parkway.
