Westchester County Martial Arts Studio, 914 Krav Maga, Celebrates Grand Opening

914 Krav Maga, a specialized martial arts and fitness kickboxing school, celebrated its grand opening on October 27, 2015. Guests had the opportunity to see the new studio and a live martial arts and self-defense demonstration from 914 Krav Maga’s instructors and students.

914 Krav Maga is a family-owned and operated martial arts training center located in Scarsdale, NY (303 Central Park Ave.). Marty Fareri and Greg Melia opened 914 Krav Maga in September 2015 to become the leading martial arts and kickboxing facility in Westchester County. Melia brings his 20 plus years of martial arts experience and extensive knowledge to teach Krav Maga, Grappling/Brazilian Jujitsu, Muay Thai and also the studio’s children’s classes (ages 5 to 17). Fareri is in charge of assessment and training programs for mature adults. This program helps the older generation become functionally active and independent.

914 Krav Maga offers a fun, challenging and unique physical fitness outlet for a diverse range of clients. 914 Krav Maga programs help improve health and wellness; educate men and women on important self-defense techniques; and, simultaneously, increases self-confidence, particularly for children who may be bullied.
