Westchester Resident To Graduate Residency Program At Phelps

Martin Preciado, MD was born in Lima, Peru and has lived in Westchester since moving to the United States in 2000. He studied at Westchester Community College Initially, before transferring to Binghamton University. There, he received a B.S. in Biological Studies. Following that, he studied medicine at ELAM in Havana, Cuba. While in Cuba he realized his strong commitment to providing care to the underserved, including immigration populations. He says, “I have a passion for family medicine, which is why I’m pursuing my residency in Family Medicine. I’m extremely happy to be part of the Phelps Family Medicine Program in Sleepy Hollow”. Dr. Preciado will graduate from the Family Medicine program in 2022.
