Wine-Tasting Class Takes You On A Trip Around The World Without Leaving Westchester

If you've always wanted to learn about the wines of the world, but just don't have time to travel across the globe, there's an option that doesn't require very much travel.

The is offering a Wines of the World program in which instructor Tony Russo of Aries Wine and Spirits will introduce participants to the most famous wine-producing regions of the world. He'll guide participants through the tasting of some of the best wines from at least six different countries.

In addition to tasing wines, you'll learn about the ideal cuisines to pair with the wines.

However, space is limited to 12 people for this wine-tasting adventure. The Scarsdale Adult School says there are some spaces still left, but they encourage those interested in the class to sign up quickly.

The wine tasting costs $30 per person, with a $20 sampling fee payable to the instructor. The tasting takes place on March 13, from 8 to 10 p.m. at Aries Wine and Spirits, 128 West Post Road, White Plains.
