The thefts happened in August, and Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for tips. You can report information anonymously by phone, app, or online.
   

• GoFundMe launched for Selden man, 26, killed in Holbrook crash (greaterlongisland.com) — A 26-year-old Selden resident, Matthew Schneider, was killed early Tuesday when his van left Express Drive South in Holbrook, struck a tree, and overturned. Friends have launched a GoFundMe to help his family cover funeral and service costs, and Suffolk police are still investigating the crash. Locals who wish to support the family can donate online.
