Woman Hurt As Sedan Crashes Into Guardrail On William Floyd Parkway In Shirley: Police
UPDATE: She was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk in East Patchogue, Suffolk police say.
SHIRLEY, NY — A woman was hurt Friday after the driver of a sedan lost control of it, and it struck the median guardrail on William Floyd Parkway in Shirley early Friday morning, Suffolk police said.
The man was driving 2004 Nissan sedan southbound on William Floyd Parkway, near the intersection of Moriches-Middle Island Road, when he lost control of the vehicle, and it struck the median guardrail at around 3:15 a.m., according to police.
The woman riding in the passenger seat was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk in East Patchogue for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
