12th Annual ‘Take Down Autism’ Wrestling Tournament a Success
The William Floyd Colonials wrestling team recently hosted the 12th annual 'Take Down Autism' Tournament.

From William Floyd School District: The William Floyd Colonials wrestling team recently hosted the 12th annual “Take Down Autism” Tournament, a day of fundraising and competition among the best teams in Suffolk County. In total, the tournament raised $2,228 which included a generous donation of $1,000 from the Rotary Club of Shirley and the Mastics. The money raised will benefit Autism Speaks, an autism advocacy organization that sponsors autism research and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments and the public.
“On behalf of the wrestling team, I would like to thank Randy Nathanson and Bill Guiducci from Rotary, as well as all the wrestling families who made this day such a success.” To date, the “Take Down Autism” tournament has raised more than $53,000.
