15-Year-Old Girl Shot Saturday Night: Police
The male shooter appears to have been known by the teen, police say.

MASTIC BEACH, NY — A 15-year-old girl was shot in Mastic Beach Saturday night.
Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating the shooting, which took place on Flower Road at 11:40 p.m., police said.
She was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The shooter, a male, appears to have been known by the victim, police said.
