2 Break-In To Shirley Home With Residents Inside: Cops

The pair fled the scene, police say.

SHIRLEY, NY — Two burglars broke into a Shirley home with the residents inside on Monday, police said.

According to Suffolk County Police, Seventh Squad detectives are investigating the burglary that occurred at an occupied residence located on Lockwood Drive at 1:10 p.m. At least two individuals fled the scene and there were no injuries, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the incident to contact Seventh Squad detectives at 631-852-8752.

Individuals at the scene said that the burglars may have been armed and in ski masks, but police were unable to immediately confirm any additional details.
