2 People Shot In Mastic Beach Monday Night; Shooter Flees Scene: Police
A group was arguing when a man pulled out a gun and shot a man and a woman, police say.
MASTIC BEACH, NY —Two people were injured in a Mastic Beach shooting Monday night, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, the incident happened on Woodside Road at about 10 p.m.
A group of people were arguing in front of the home when a man drew a handgun and fired several shots at two of the people involved, police said.

The shooter fled the scene, police said.
The two who were shot, a 25-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman, were transported to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
