3-Car Crash Leaves Man Injured In Shirley: Cops
A Mercedes- Benz speeding south on the William Floyd Parkway crashed into two other vehicles before coming to rest on a guardrail, cops say.
SHIRLEY, NY — A three-car crash left a man injured in Shirley Friday afternoon, police said.
According to Suffolk County police, a Mercedes- Benz traveling south on the William Floyd Parkway at 4:11 p.m. at a "high rate of speed" crashed into two other vehicles before coming to rest on the guardrail 20 to 30 feet south of the intersection of Rose Executive Blvd.
The driver, who was not immediately identified, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries; he was issued summonses for reckless driving, aggravated unlicensed operation, and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle., police said.
