7-Eleven Planning Hundreds Of Store Closures: How It Could Impact LI

While there are closures down the pike, 7-Eleven plans to add 205 convenience stores by February 2027's, Live Now From Fox reported.

LONG ISLAND, NY — Seven-Eleven's parent company has plans to shut down 645 locations across the U.S. during its 2026 fiscal year, according to reports.

The closures includes stores that will be converted into wholesale fuel stores, which the chain does not include in its count of convenience stores, according to a recent filing, Live Now From Fox reported.

The report does not say which stores will be closed, according to the outlet.

And while there are closures are coming down the pike, the company plans to add 205 convenience stores by the end of next February, the outlet reported.

Seven-11 has dozens of locations across Long Island in both Nassau and Suffolk counties.
